We are located at 321 Oak Street in DeKalb, Illinois.

as well as, City of DeKalb Municipal Parking Lot #7. Parking Map » Our Parking Assistants will personally welcome you, aid with parking your
vehicle, and guide you to your destination.
Our Church History
Under the leadership of its Senior Pastor,
Reverend Jane Eesley,
and Associate Pastor,
Reverend Laura Crites, First UMC continues to be a leader in the
community and in Methodism as a whole. First UMC, in its 156th year, is
an active congregation that is involved not only with the DeKalb
community, but also around the world.

First UMC offers a variety of worship opportunities on Sundays. If you are considering
visiting us, please check out our Worship Opportunities. When you attend our
worship services, please complete our Attendance Registration forms located in
our pews, and provide us with your information. We will be happy to contact you
to personally welcome you and try to answer any questions you might have about
this church family. After worship, please visit our Fellowship Hall for a cup of coffee, and Visit our Welcome Centers to receive
information about First United Methodist Church. Children's and Youth Sunday School and Childcare
Our Children's and Youth Sunday School and Childcare programs are staffed by a great team of
professionals who will ensure a positive and caring time for your children. If
you have children and are in need of this support for Sunday morning, please
view the Classroom Assignments for room number information and assistance. On
your first visit, you will need to complete an
Enrollment
Form. Please print and complete this
Children's Enrollment Form, and bring
it with you on your first visit.
